Child Safety Standards

Purrlyne has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form — including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, and any attempt to solicit, endanger, or sexualize a minor. This applies to every part of the service: 1-on-1 chat, public rooms, direct messages, profile pictures, and usernames.

Purrlyne is restricted to adults. Every account must self-certify being 18 years of age or older at signup, and accounts found to belong to a minor, or found to be used to target a minor, are permanently banned on discovery.

• Every chat, room, and message includes a built-in Report function, available to registered users and guests alike.
• Reports involving a minor or suspected CSAE are prioritized and reviewed by our moderation team.
• Accounts confirmed to have posted, solicited, or shared CSAE content are permanently banned and preserved evidence is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or relevant law enforcement, as legally required.
• Purrlyne is a text-and-profile-picture platform — chat messages cannot carry image or video attachments, which limits one of the main vectors used to distribute CSAM on other platforms.
• We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations and respond to valid legal process.

Anyone — user or not — can report a concern about child safety on Purrlyne using the in-app Report button on any chat, room, or profile, or by emailing support@purrlyne.com. Reports are not shown to the reported user and can be filed without an account.

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement first. In the United States, you can also report CSAM directly to NCMEC at CyberTipline.org.
